To my older teen and adult clients: here are some movies and books I recommend from beautiful, resilient communities who have taught me much about joy, privilege, and what it means to be a human. If you are a part of any of these communities, below are some resources that you might find useful ~

LGBTQIA+

  • “PFLAG Portland provides peer-to-peer support for LGBTQ+ people, their parents and families, and allies. We offer in-person and on-line support circles, advocacy, and programs lifting up LGBTQ+ student and other community organizations.” https://pflagpdx.org/

  • “Since 1998, SMYRC has fostered a safe, harassment-free space for LGBTQIA2S+ youth ages 13-24. Asian American

African Diaspora
